SAGE stands for story . A story of connection, just as all weaving threads are connected. But Sage also represents a story of connection and inclusion. We all have the right to be treated equally regardless of our background, nationality, religion, gender, disability, age, etc.

In practice, however, often opposite stories can be heard. Stories of exclusion and discrimination. Because Marieke herself has a disability, she knows from her own experience how difficult it is sometimes to deviate from what is “normal”. That is why we would like to give this subject a warm heart and are actively committed to it.

The war in Ukraine is where exclusion and discrimination are currently taking on horrific and degrading forms. That is why we would like to support giro 555 by donating € 1 per product sold to the ‘Together in action for Ukraine’ campaign. And that total amount is doubled by our set builder.

Hopefully we can also contribute to support the victims and offer hope in this inhumane situation. Because everyone deserves to be able to participate in society in peace and security.
