All creations are unique hand-woven items made with great attention and love for craftsmanship. Every step is done by hand. From measuring the material on the warp mill, setting up and binding the loom, weaving to applying the right finishing techniques. In the final phase, the fabrics are made up by a professional seamstress.
The creations are inspired by traditional skills, nature, the art of simplicity and Japanese textile art. All products are made of high quality and durable materials. Only vegetable yarns such as organic linen and or organic cotton are used.
A hand-woven fabric has a beautiful structure that you cannot match with a machine. The use of colors and patterns are timeless, so that the products last for a long time and can be used for different interior styles. The colors correspond to the elements of water, fire, earth and air. Living close to the sea, many of these sources of inspiration can be found. But gemstones are also a source of inspiration.
The patterns are often repetitive. Repetition represents peace and balance. Just like in nature. There you see the harmony, yet everything is in constant motion. Seasons, tides, the moon, etc. everything follows a larger pattern and is governed by a certain rhythm. With the rhythm of a pattern we create a natural and balanced but also lively atmosphere.
The collection is produced in small quantities. The collection will change, but more organically, not subject to trends or seasons. Small stocks are woven, which saves a lot of wastage.
