Handwoven scarf made of high-quality merino wool. This superfine merino wool comes from Dutch merino sheep. The colour of the wool is undyed and has the natural colour of the sheep's fleece. The colour is soft beige.
Merino wool is praised for the quality of its wool. The fibre of merino sheep's wool is much finer and more flexible than the wool of other sheep species, making it much softer and it doesn't itch.
A stylish, but also sustainable scarf. Wool is completely biodegradable and because the wool is undyed, the scarf is completely chemical-free. This merino wool is locally produced and animal-friendly, from the herds of The Knitwit Stable in Baambrugge.
Merino wool warms in winter and cools in summer, making it suitable for use in all seasons. Also, merino wool has self-cleaning properties so that washing is actually not necessary, airing it is often already good. The longer the scarf is used, the more beautiful and softer it becomes. A scarf that will last for generations.
Undyed and fair merino wool gives beautiful natural colours and material to weave with. A warm colour taupe/brown is used for the warp and a beautiful soft and natural colour beige for the weft. This interweaves nature with craft thread by thread.
The handwork gives the scarf a beautiful texture that cannot be matched by the machine, the pattern gives sophistication and allure to the scarf. Each scarf is a unique weave
